Who is Betsy Q?
Betsy Q is a professional musician, songwriter and performer of children’s music. She has been performing as “Betsy Q” for over 25 years delighting children in elementary schools, preschools and family events with an upbeat, educational concert that is full of audience participation including bringing the children and sometimes parents and teachers onto the stage with her on a few songs. She now has a whole new generation of fans that are now coming with their parents that followed and loved “Betsy Q” when they were children. Her music is “timeless”!!
Betsy Q Music is also being used in helping exceptional children with autism, special needs and speech therapy.
As a former rock and roll musician for close to 20 years, Betsy Q has the experience she needs to captivate an audience . This experience enhanced her ability to write music that children and parents would both love. Not only is it easy to sing along with her songs, the music is also upbeat and fun. Parents say they love her music too since they are listening to it with their children. Betsy Q kept that in mind while writing . Since she comes from a long line of elementary school teachers in her family, Betsy Q was able to get firsthand ideas from them on subject matters that they needed as teaching tools in their classrooms. So, Betsy Q music is being used in the classroom, too.
