Betsy Q. Mini Concert
For Small Schools and Birthday Parties
( For 60 children or less including parents) This is somewhat negotiable.
Betsy Q has created a concert that small schools can afford. If you are familiar with the normal Betsy Q concert, you know that she has a professional sound system that takes around a two hour set up and about an hour to tear down. These shows have a big sound but appropriate for families and children.
In order for smaller schools or venues to have a concert, Betsy Q would come without her professional sound system. In other words, no microphones or big speakers etc.
She would bring a cd player, play her cd’s and sing along with them, doing the same songs that she normally does in concert. This still includes the audience participation, bringing the children up on stage with her occasionally and she still brings the “Briar Phoenix” puppets for that song. The concerts are about 40 to 50 minutes long.
It’s a simple way of providing the music and fun for the children and doesn’t require as much set up as in a larger show and also doesn’t require as much space and is less expensive for you.
Birthday Parties
These concerts are just like the ones described above. The only difference is they are not as long…about 30 minutes. They are also less expensive than the preschool mini shows that are longer. She also gives the birthday boy or girl a CD as a gift. Parents have sometimes used “Betsy Q Cd’s” as party favors for the guests and Betsy Q would give you a deal on the purchase of multiple CD’s for that purpose.
